Job Title: Children and Young People Services Leader

Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide strategic leadership for the service, driving a clear vision for excellence and outcomes.
  • To develop, plan, and deliver a systemic service, embedding systemic ideas and practices into all aspects of Children's Social Care.
  • To work closely with the Quality Assurance Service Lead to ensure seamless integration between quality assurance and practice improvement.
  • To evaluate services rigorously, ensuring continuous improvement and responsiveness to children's and young people's needs.
  • To ensure the service meets national and local performance and quality indicators in a timely manner.
  • To monitor safeguarding responsibilities, performance, and training of staff.
  • To undertake training, including child protection training, and participate in meetings, supervision, and other events to enhance communication and post development.
  • To plan and manage programmes of change and projects to improve service outcomes.
  • To promote quality, diversity, and inclusion, maintaining awareness of the quality and diversity protocol/policy and creating a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment.
Requirements:

This role requires a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in systemic service development and leadership.
