About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at East Parade Surgery. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team in providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the clinical team in the safe and effective delivery of care to patients
  • Undertake tasks and duties delegated by the clinical team, including health promotion programs, baseline observations, and wound care
  • Support the practice nurse with the management of chronic disease clinics and provide administrative support as needed
  • Carry out ECGs, venepuncture, and other clinical tasks as required
  • Ensure all clinical rooms are adequately stocked and prepared for each session
  • Manage stock levels of drugs and consumables and re-order when necessary
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A healthcare qualification (level 3 or 4) or working towards gaining qualification
  • Experience of working in a Primary Care environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work outside of core office hours
