Fiduciary Services Manager

About the Role
Aon is seeking a highly skilled Fiduciary Ledger Manager to join our team based in Chelmsford, UK. As a key member of our Global Broking Centre (GBC), you will be responsible for delivering and developing fiduciary services to a portfolio of businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the interface between fiduciary accounts and business units, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Provide leadership to the offshore team, setting meaningful targets and achieving them through agreement and collaboration with Genpact and the business.
- Utilize fiduciary knowledge to deliver operational and financial benefits to Aon Limited.
- Propose activities or workstreams aimed at improving the end-to-end service, enhancing efficiency, and reducing costs.
- Support the design and implementation of processes to improve control environments and working collaboratively with Genpact to improve service.
- Support Senior Management in achieving strategic business objectives, including developing a robust, efficient, and cost-sensitive strategy for Fiduciary Accounts within Aon UK Limited.
- Understand complex internal and external accounting problems and propose solutions.
- Produce regular reports to management on key targets, projects, and issues, as well as project summaries or presentations as required.
- Ensure all policies, procedures, processes, and controls underpinning fiduciary or operational processes for your business area are maintained and approved by owners.
- Support a risk-proportionate control and oversight function for Fiduciary Accounts within Aon Risk Solutions.
- Lead or manage initiatives as requested by management, developing and maintaining key internal or external relationships.
Requirements
- Accounting or insurance qualifications preferred but not essential.
- Enthusiastic team player with strong relationship-building skills.
- Strong understanding of and experience in insurance broking accounts.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and information-gathering skills, able to use analytical skills and knowledge to identify key risk areas.
- Motivation, coaching, and development of staff, with evidence of proactive management of performance issues.
- Upholds and demonstrates leadership values.
- Well-developed influencing skills.
- Experience of working with an offshore service provider.
- Strong understanding of the UK Regulatory environment.
