About the Role
Aon is seeking a highly skilled Fiduciary Accounting Ledger Technician to join our team based in the UK. As a key member of our Fiduciary Services team, you will be responsible for delivering and developing financial performance and service targets for our Risk Capital and Human Capital businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver financial performance and service targets for your area of responsibility
- Work effectively with colleagues across Aon and Aon suppliers to deliver required performance and service outcomes
- Support development and improvement in our Fiduciary services and ways of working
- Contribute to business projects and improvement activities
What You'll Do
- Manage working relationships between Fiduciary accounts and business units
- Utilize Fiduciary expertise to deliver operational and financial benefit to Aon Limited
- Propose activities or workstreams aimed at improving end-to-end service
- Support design and implementation of processes aimed at improving efficiency and enhancing control environment
- Undertake work on IBA and ledger systems to support clearance of Premium, Claim, Commission, and Receipt transactions
- Work collaboratively with outsource partners to deliver results and improve service
- Understand complex internal and external accounting problems and propose solutions
- Ensure procedures and controls within your limits of authority are adhered to
- Lead or manage initiatives as requested by management
- Develop and maintain key internal or external relationships

Requirements
- Enthusiastic team player with excellent relationship building skills

Helpful Experience

- Good understanding of insurance accounting or similar account work
- Accounting or insurance qualifications are preferred but not essential
