Job Title:
Area Sales Manager for Plumbing and Heating Merchants

Industry Sector:
Water treatment, water softeners, heating system chemical treatment, scale prevention, independent and national plumbing and heating merchants, plumbing contractors and installers

Area to be covered:
North

Remuneration:
£33,000 + £5,000-£10,000 uncapped bonus

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of plumbing and heating merchants, developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, and driving sales growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage a portfolio of plumbing and heating merchants, providing exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
2. Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth in the region, identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing relationships.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
4. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
5. Analyze sales data and market trends to inform business decisions and drive growth.

Requirements:
1. Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the plumbing and heating industry.
2. Strong understanding of the plumbing and heating market, including industry trends and customer needs.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and sales growth.
