Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Representative to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling a range of plastic building products to general builders, commercial contractors, bathroom installers, roofing contractors, decking installers, plumbing merchants, builder merchants, UPVC stockists, housebuilders, and local authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell plastic building products such as fascias, guttering, cladding, decking, sills, drainage, roofing, insulation, windows, doors, and bathroom panels to a variety of customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to increase sales and revenue.
- Work closely with the Area Manager and Sales Director to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge to effectively promote and sell our products.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in construction sales, preferably in the plastic building products industry.
- Strong knowledge of the construction industry, including general builders, commercial contractors, bathroom installers, roofing contractors, decking installers, plumbing merchants, builder merchants, UPVC stockists, housebuilders, and local authorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on achieving sales targets and expanding the customer base.
- Computer literate and proficient in using sales software and systems.
