Housing Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housing Support Specialist to join our team at Regenda Group. As a Housing Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing housing support to service users at our supported housing projects.
You will work with service users who have been homeless and have complex needs, to sustain their tenancies by facilitating repairs, health and safety, and compliance checks. You will also work alongside partner agencies and the wider Regenda Group to empower and prepare service users to move on to independent living and support with personal wellbeing.
This is a housing management support role, not a healthcare support role. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our service users and be part of a team that is passionate about ending homelessness.
Key Responsibilities- Provide housing support to service users at our supported housing projects
- Facilitate repairs, health and safety, and compliance checks to sustain tenancies
- Work alongside partner agencies and the wider Regenda Group to empower and prepare service users for independent living
- Support service users with personal wellbeing
- Experience of working with service users who have been homeless and have complex needs
- Ability to assess housing support needs and facilitate repairs, health and safety, and compliance checks
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and take feedback to continually improve performance
- Ability to ensure all policies and procedures are followed to manage and mitigate risks
