Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Family Support Specialist to join our Children and Family Wellbeing Service in Burnley. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with children, young people, and their families to provide early help and support.

About the Role

As a Family Support Specialist, you will undertake assessments of the needs of children, young people, and their families, using the Early Help Assessment Framework and 'team around the family' methodology. You will deliver identified interventions with children, young people, and their families, as part of an agreed action plan to achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake assessments of the needs of children, young people, and their families
  • Deliver identified interventions with children, young people, and their families
  • Record case notes appropriately within the agreed Case Management IT system
