Deputy Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Deputy Manager to join our team at Kido. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our children and supporting the growth of our nursery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of childcare professionals to deliver high-quality education and care to our children.
  • Develop and implement educational programs that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework and other relevant statutory frameworks.
  • Ensure the welfare and safety of children are paramount, handling any child protection concerns with sensitivity and urgency.
  • Support the planning and organization of staffing schedules and holiday rotas to maintain optimal staffing levels.
  • Handle administrative procedures, including registrations, place allocations, and other essential tasks.
  • Assess and record children's progress and achievements, implementing effective systems of observation to celebrate their unique journeys.
Requirements
  • A relevant childcare qualification, level 3 minimum.
  • Experience as a Room Leader, Third in Charge, or Deputy Manager in a nursery setting, with strong leadership skills.
