We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and resilient Teaching Assistant to support our young people at Pivot Academy Kirklees.
About Us
Pivot Academy Kirklees is a therapeutic nurture provision that offers a unique learning environment for students who require additional support. Our academy provides a safe and nurturing space where students can develop their skills, build their confidence, and achieve their full potential.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Support students with complex social, emotional, mental health (SEMH), and other associated needs
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement personalized learning plans
- Engage students in academic and extracurricular activities to promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A strong understanding of child development and behavior
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is £22,000 - £27,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including:
