The Role:

This is a pivotal position that involves providing a resident-focused rent and service charge setting service. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing rent-setting processes, procedures, and policies, ensuring all rents and service charges comply with current legislation and calculations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain rent-setting processes, procedures, and policies to ensure compliance with current legislation and calculations.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues on rent and service charge-related issues.
  • Support and advise on Section 20 consultation processes and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in producing clear and accurate communications for tenants and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Significant relevant professional experience in setting and managing rents and service charges in social housing for tenants and leaseholders.
  • Experience in working with large, complex data sets, including manipulation, interpretation, and presentation, and the ability to provide meaningful business insight.
