Children's Residential Care Officer Role Summary
The successful candidate will work as part of our Residential and Inspiring Futures Teams Service to support children in care and young people transitioning to adulthood through our care leaver services. As a Residential Child Care Officer, you will provide a caring, supportive environment that meets the emotional, social, and physical needs of children.

Key Responsibilities
Working shifts, including morning and afternoon shifts, with sleep-in duties as needed. Advocating for children's needs within the home's guidelines and ethos. Completing required training, including the QCF Level 3 qualification and the Therapeutic Crisis Intervention program. Following a typical 4-week rota with 2 weekends off and flexibility for additional shifts as needed.

Salary and Benefits
A competitive salary of £28,176 - £31,101 per annum. Additional benefits include 40.77 per sleep-in shift, 2 weekends off every 4 weeks, overtime at time and a quarter for hours beyond 37, South Yorkshire Pension Authority contributions, and competitive leave entitlement (up to 33 days, excluding public holidays)
