Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Lead to join our Commercial Data Operations team at Whitbread. As a Business Lead, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and delivery of a pipeline of change for Premier Inn's hotel management system (Opera Cloud).

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the focal point for the introduction of new functionality through the management and prioritisation of a development backlog.
  • Provide guidance and support to teams across Operations and Support Centre in identifying and applying the most effective solutions to problems encountered with the HMS.
  • Facilitate and drive a culture of continuous improvement, focusing on documenting and maintaining current processes, and constantly exploring and acting on opportunities to improve process quality and efficiency.
  • Provide structured feedback loops to embed best practice and capture/evolve new ideas from key stakeholders to develop and refine new processes that enable more efficient and effective ways of working.

Requirements

  • A broad understanding of the business processes supported by Central Reservation Systems and Property Management Systems.
  • Good understanding of Opera Cloud.
  • Experience of the Premier Inn business or general hospitality experience.
  • Knowledge of key procedures and standards for the Premier Inn business or hospitality.
  • Experience in working within teams delivering change/continuous improvement.
  • Strong fact-gathering and research skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong people and communication skills, with ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
