About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Counsellor to join our team in providing emotional wellbeing support to our members. As an EAP Counsellor, you will play a vital role in delivering brief solution-focused counselling sessions using a realistic approach, helping our members achieve their desired goals.

Job Description:

In this impactful role, you will work closely with a caring and supportive team of counsellors who share your passion for improving the emotional wellbeing of our members. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing virtual assessments and in-the-moment support to a diverse range of clients using a brief solution-focused model
  • Delivering one-off emotional wellbeing calls, referring clients to internal and external resources as needed
  • Carrying out risk assessments and triage to ensure client safety
  • Documenting all client interactions in accordance with clinical policy
  • Staying up-to-date on relevant regulatory and legislative developments to maintain high-quality care
  • Maintaining open communication with colleagues through regular team meetings and discussions

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full accreditation to a recognized governing body for counselling and/or psychotherapy
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Counselling or Psychotherapy (Diploma not accepted)
  • Experience working in a brief solution-focused counselling model
  • Prior telephone/video counselling experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and technology-based platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Counselling and/or Psychotherapy, strong clinical judgement, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth and development within our organization.
