UPS System Specialist

Are you a skilled Electrical Engineering Technician looking for a challenging role that utilises your knowledge of Power Electronics? We have an exciting opportunity for a UPS Engineer to join our client's team in Fareham, UK.
">">- Servicing and repairing UPS systems, as well as providing support and training to other staff members
- Communicating with customers, subcontractors, and staff on technical issues
- Making recommendations and advice for solutions to site issues, including advising on required spare parts fitment
- Undertaking diagnosis, fault finding, and rectification
- Liaising with specialist subcontractors to ensure SLAs are achieved
- Traveling throughout the UK as required, including nights away from home
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with overtime available. The salary is £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a company van and mileage paid, phone and tablet provided, private health care, pension, and more.
">RequirementsWe are seeking a candidate with:
">- HNC/HND/BSc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Multiple years of direct UPS service experience
- Additional background experience in Electrical/Electronic equipment specifically Power Electronics
- Computer Literate (All office-associated programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Previous field service experience essential
- Excellent customer service skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
