At ServiceNow, we're shaping the future of work. As a highly driven Senior Mid-Market Account Executive, you'll play a pivotal role in propelling our sales team forward. Your responsibility will be to strategically expand into new accounts, enhance usage within existing customer bases, and ensure these customers continue to derive value from the NOW Platform.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in generating new business pipelines, preferably over the telephone, within an enterprise capacity. You'll collaborate with your team of Sales Specialists, Solution Consultants, Renewal Sales, and more to exceed quota and build the foundation for ServiceNow's sales talent.

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
  • Manage sales opportunities and relationships with influential contacts within Small, Mid-Market, and Commercial Accounts via telephone.
  • Focus on understanding an organization's business drivers, challenges, pain points, and how ServiceNow solutions address these.
  • Strategically prospect within key verticals to develop new opportunities and pipeline.
  • Adhere to the Value Selling sales process to win new business, expand within existing accounts, and secure contract renewals.
  • Collaborate with an extended team and coordinate necessary resources to progress the sales cycle, including Solution Consultants, Customer Service, Partners, etc.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to management regarding forecasting, territory plans, strategic account plans, etc.
  • Work towards daily, monthly, and quarterly KPI metrics such as new prospect meetings, pipeline generation, ACV bookings, and renewal rates.
  • Mentor team members and participate in collaborative projects to contribute value to the team.
  • Occasional travel may be required for training or meetings.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A demonstrable track record of success within telesales, lead follow-up, cold calling, or new business sales capacities.
  • 1-3+ years of full sales cycle experience gained within software or solution sales organizations.
  • Experience selling enterprise class solutions utilizing telephone and video conference technology.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the sales process and ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
  • Sales force automation, enterprise resource planning, or other IT infrastructure management technologies are a plus.
  • Presentation skills using web-based tools are advantageous.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written skills.
  • Exceptional relationship building skills – Ability to establish meaningful business relationships with ServiceNow customers, prospects, and internal colleagues.
  • Persistent and dependable, particularly with regards to attendance, deliverables, and deadlines.
