About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practitioner to lead our residential child care team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to children and young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of residential practitioners to deliver high-quality care and support to children and young people.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child and young person.
  • Work closely with other professionals and agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
  • Provide supervision and support to staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of children and young people.
Requirements
  • Hold a minimum of NVQ/QCF Diploma Level 3 in Residential Child Care and QFC Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services Level 5.
  • Have recent experience of working with children and young people who have emotional or behavioural difficulties.
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to work flexibly and be willing to travel to different locations as required.
  • Be able to maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with GDPR.
