Job Title: Senior Practitioner (Interventions Coach)

Location: Leeds

Salary: £27,816 - £28,816 plus Secure Unit Allowance of £2,583

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Contract Type: Permanent

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Senior Practitioner (Interventions Coach) to support and engage young people aged 10 to 18 in a secure environment.

About Us

We care for young people who are placed in secure accommodation for their own safety or due to court orders. Our goal is to transform attitudes, behaviours, and emotions, enabling each young person to make a positive contribution to their family and community.

The Role

As an Interventions Coach, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 support for young people with additional learning needs.
  • Plan, deliver, and assess learning activities in your specialist subject area.
  • Work as part of a team to support the development of young people within a secure environment.

About You

We are looking for candidates with strong IT skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team. You will have experience working with challenging behaviour in a residential or educational setting and knowledge of child and adolescent development, restorative practices, and safeguarding.
