Contract Manager

Project People is seeking a highly skilled Contract Director to oversee the creation, execution, and management of contracts throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Contract Oversight: Responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies, internal processes, and requirements.
- Sales Contract Quality: Ensures high-quality sales contracts, particularly in terms of compliance and risk management.
- Collaboration: Liaises with regional and HQ colleagues to manage escalation and decision-making processes.
- Risk Analysis: Provides risk analysis and generates reports to inform decision-making, working with legal, sales, and technical teams to mitigate commercial, legal, and delivery risks.
- Contract Design: Supports sales and product teams in designing contract and commercial models for sales projects.
- Tender Response: Responds to commercial conditions of tenders and prepares relevant commercial and contract documents.
- Contract Negotiation: Leads sales-related contract negotiations and manages changes in existing contracts.
- Industry Experience: Experience in ICT or renewable energy industry is desirable but not mandatory.
- Contract Negotiation: Experience in contract negotiation, bidding commercial activities for more than 3 years is preferred.
- Procurement Processes: Experience with procurement processes and vendor management is desired.
- Contract Law: Good command of basic knowledge of contract law and basic knowledge of financial principles.
- Contract Drafting: Skill in drafting clear, concise, and legally sound contracts, and the ability to review and amend them effectively.
- Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with contracts.
- Communication: Strong contract negotiation and communication skills with ability to present to customers, achieve favorable terms while maintaining positive relationships.
- Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor or higher degree in commerce or law is desired.
- Language: Excellent English and Chinese in written and spoken.
