The Isle of Wight Council is launching a brand new Educational Psychology Service, and we're looking for a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Psychological Support Services Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a pioneering initiative that will shape the future of educational psychology services on the Island.

We are seeking someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people and has a strong commitment to ensuring that all children achieve their best outcomes and develop into independent adults. If you have a talent for developing and applying knowledge and skills in assessment, monitoring, and tracking progress of children and young people with SEN, then this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

In this role, you will work closely with schools and other stakeholders to develop and implement strategies to improve outcomes for vulnerable students. You will also support in the development of service planning, including KPIs and statutory timeframes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve outcomes for vulnerable students
  • Work closely with schools and other stakeholders to identify and address the needs of children and young people with SEN
  • Support in the development of service planning, including KPIs and statutory timeframes
