We are seeking an experienced Clinical/Counselling/Forensic Psychologist to lead our Psychology South team at Cygnet Health Care. As a senior member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to individuals with complex mental health needs.

About the Role

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will work 40 hours a week, contributing to the development of our services and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures
  • Lead the psychology team, providing guidance and support to junior staff members
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop care plans
  • Evaluate the service, contribute to its development, and carry out clinical research

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a clinical forensic or mental health setting, preferably with complex therapies such as Schema-focused, Cognitive Analytical, and DBT. They must be passionate about working with individuals with diverse mental health needs and capable of treating difficulties such as self-harm, aggression, and substance misuse.
