About the Role

The University of Leeds is seeking a highly skilled Development Manager to join its Facilities Directorate. This is an exciting opportunity to lead complex capital projects and programmes, supporting the University's strategic spatial requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead major capital projects and programmes from briefing to completion, ensuring delivery of targets set by the University leadership.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including Leeds City Council, the NHS, and local landowners, to provide strong leadership of projects and programmes.
  • Work with colleagues across the Facilities Directorate, including capital project managers and technical specialists, to deliver projects and programmes.
  • Develop and present compelling strategic business cases to senior boards.
  • Manage a diverse team of consultants and provide effective leadership.
