Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in driving the growth of our business within the commercial waste sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and developing tailored waste management solutions that meet the specific needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and target new business opportunities within the region, focusing on the commercial waste sector. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve growth targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their waste management needs and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitors within the commercial waste industry. Utilize this information to inform business development strategies.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients, demonstrating the value and benefits of our waste management solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2/3 years of experience in business development within the Commercial Waste Management industry or a related field.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the commercial waste management sector, including regulatory requirements, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Sales Skills: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share in a competitive environment.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel within the region as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events. - Must have clean UK driving license
