About the Role
">As a Field Service Engineer at Plymouth Office, you will be responsible for attending customer locations to determine the scope of work required, assessing and agreeing with the end user their priorities. You will ensure safe working practices are adhered to, liaise with the controller and customer on expected work providing clarity on timescales and costs.
The Impact You Will Have
">- You will identify the root cause of a breakdown in a timely manner, ensuring the correct parts are obtained cost-effectively.
- You will ensure all work complies with engineering standards, carrying out inspections/checks on your work as it progresses.
- You will maximise revenue from damaged equipment, completing job and service documentation correctly.
- You will work independently and under pressure, managing and prioritising your workload effectively.
- You will have a good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical principles.
Requirements
">- You will require a relevant technical qualification.
- You will need previous experience within a similar role.
- You will have a strong ability to manage and prioritise your workload.
- You will be able to communicate effectively with customers.
- Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum.
