About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and clinically excellent audiologist or clinical scientist to lead and shape our paediatric audiology services in the acute setting.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee and participate in paediatric hearing tests, hearing aid provision, and diagnostic tests for babies.
  • Develop and implement policies and strategic direction for paediatric services in the department.
  • Lead and participate in paediatric clinics, including two-tester VRA clinics.
  • Work with colleagues in the community paediatric team to develop and implement effective services.

Requirements
  • BSc/MSc in Audiology or a related field.
  • Evidence of competence in ABR testing and paediatric hearing aid fittings.
  • Experience of leading and participating in paediatric clinics, including two-tester VRA clinics.
  • Ability to work effectively without supervision and to formulate appropriate patient management plans.
