About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and clinically excellent audiologist or clinical scientist to lead and shape our paediatric audiology services in the acute setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and participating in paediatric hearing tests, hearing aid provision, and diagnostic tests for babies, as well as shaping policy and strategic direction for paediatric services in the department.

Main Responsibilities
  • To lead and participate in paediatric hearing tests, hearing aid provision, and diagnostic tests for babies.
  • To shape policy and strategic direction for paediatric services in the department.
  • To demonstrate excellent leadership qualities and organisation ability.
  • To develop and ratify standard operating procedures based on modern evidence-based practice.
  • To show clinical leadership by innovating on clinical procedures in terms of outcome measures, quality assurance practices based on current best practice and national protocols.
