Customer Account Manager - Aerospace

Carbon60 is seeking a skilled Customer Account Manager to join their team in Portsmouth. This is a Monday to Friday contract with no shift work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned aerospace customers, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Order Fulfillment: Manage customer orders from initial entry to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • SAP System Management: Utilize SAP for order management, inventory tracking, production scheduling, and invoicing, ensuring data integrity.
  • Customer Communication: Regularly update clients on order status, resolve inquiries, and address concerns.
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Forecasting and Demand Planning: Work with customers to forecast demand, ensuring production schedules align with customer needs.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively address any order discrepancies or issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze reports related to customer orders and delivery performance.
  • Contract and Price Negotiation: Assist in contract reviews and pricing discussions with key customers.
  • Compliance: Ensure all customer accounts adhere to industry regulations and standards.
  • Requirements:
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in customer account management, preferably in aerospace manufacturing or a similar industry.
    • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for reporting and data analysis.
    • Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and quality requirements is highly desirable.
