Customer Account Manager - Aerospace
Carbon60 is seeking a skilled Customer Account Manager to join their team in Portsmouth. This is a Monday to Friday contract with no shift work.
The Role and Responsibilities:
- Customer Service and Support: Provide exceptional service and support to assigned aerospace customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Order Management: Manage customer orders through the full life cycle, from initial order entry to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- SAP System Management: Utilize SAP for order management, inventory tracking, production scheduling, and invoicing, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.
- Communication and Collaboration: Regularly communicate with clients to update them on order status, resolve inquiries, address concerns, and provide technical support when needed.
- Forecasting and Demand Planning: Work with customers to forecast demand, ensuring production schedules align with customer needs and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively address any order discrepancies, delays, or issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining long-term relationships.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze reports related to customer orders, delivery performance, and KPIs using SAP and other reporting tools.
- Contract and Price Negotiation: Assist in contract reviews, pricing discussions, and terms of service agreements with key customers.
- Compliance: Ensure all customer accounts adhere to industry regulations and standards, particularly those unique to aerospace manufacturing.
- Requirements: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in customer account management, preferably within aerospace manufacturing or a similar industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in SAP, strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel for reporting and data analysis.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and quality requirements (e.g., AS9100, ISO9001) is highly desirable.
