Customer Account Manager - Aerospace
Carbon60 is seeking a skilled Customer Account Manager to join our team in the aerospace industry. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, ensuring exceptional service, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned aerospace customers, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver tailored solutions.
- Order Processing & Fulfilment: Manage customer orders from initial entry to delivery, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
- SAP System Management: Utilize SAP for order management, inventory tracking, production scheduling, and invoicing, maintaining data accuracy and system integrity.
- Customer Communication: Regularly update customers on order status, resolve inquiries, address concerns, and provide technical support as needed.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met, including production, logistics, and quality assurance.
- Forecasting & Demand Planning: Work with customers to forecast demand, ensuring production schedules align with customer needs and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively address any order discrepancies, delays, or issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining long-term relationships.
- Reporting & Analysis: Generate and analyze reports related to customer orders, delivery performance, and KPIs using SAP and other reporting tools.
- Contract & Price Negotiation: Assist in contract reviews, pricing discussions, and terms of service agreements with key customers.
- Compliance: Ensure all customer accounts adhere to industry regulations and standards, particularly those unique to aerospace manufacturing.
- Requirements: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in customer account management, preferably within aerospace manufacturing or a similar industry.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in SAP
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel for reporting and data analysis.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and quality requirements (e.g., AS9100, ISO9001) is highly desirable.
