Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at DART Aerospace. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall quality management system performance of our Portsmouth facility, ensuring that our quality management system is continuously improving, and executing QA strategies to meet and exceed department and corporate quality goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with AS9100 Rev. D and ISO 9001 standards.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure that quality procedures are current and being followed.
- Ensure that training and inspection equipment are sufficient for the tasks to be performed.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues and escapes in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement corrective actions to prevent nonconformities.
- Collaborate with customer quality representatives to ensure high-quality products and services.
- Lead internal and external aerospace quality compliance audits.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- Expertise in problem-solving through Lean Six Sigma and other quality techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience in managing a team of quality professionals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
- Advanced knowledge of applicable quality standards.
