Business Support Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Support Administrator to join our Quality and Safety Team at NHS South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board. As the first point of contact for the team, you will provide high-quality business support across the breadth of the team, ensuring the smooth operation of administrative tasks and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a range of queries and issues from colleagues, service users, and organizations, ensuring complaints, comments, and suggestions are dealt with sensitively and helpfully.
- Explain complex administrative and team processes to colleagues, patients, or external organizations, promoting a positive image of the Service in all dealings.
- Work together with other administrators/PAs across the organizations to provide an effective network of communication, including dealing with visitors and being flexible to cover other administrators' general duties.
- Exercise judgment when dealing with queries, resolving issues where possible and escalating as appropriate.
- Plan and carry out administrative tasks, working independently, taking guidance and advice from line manager.

Essential
- Experience of working in an office or team environment.
- Able to work on own initiative and unsupervised, within defined policies and procedures.
- Good customer service skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to use tact and persuasion to support problem solving.
- Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and software such as Microsoft Office.

- Able to explain processes and procedures to those unfamiliar with them.
