This role is ideal for a Catering Manager looking for a new challenge. You will be responsible for managing several outlets across 3 business units and leading a team of 55+ direct reports. You will be responsible for developing all staff, so you will be people-focused with the ability to naturally engage teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports the Site lead to embed the step change required of the new food programme.
  • People-focused, can effectively engage teams naturally in their management style.
  • Naturally leads innovation at a high level to drive the new offers at Sunbury.
  • Works closely with the Head Chef to ensure correct stock levels.
  • Ensures Opx and waste management processes are in place and weekly reviews are completed for production.
  • Champions excellent guest experiences and effectively implements all guest communication tools provided by Marketing.
  • Ensures RRP is maintained as per company policy and that the tariff in all areas meets client/company requirements.
  • Implementation of schemes including new products, planograms, procedures, and menu specifications.
  • Works and develops good commercial relationships with suppliers.
  • Coordinates others to ensure all daily paper/computer work is complete and that inventories and statistical reports are completed correctly.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Catering/Front of House Manager in a contract catering environment.
  • The ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Man management of teams of staff.
  • Proven track record in high-volume commercial operation & delivering budgeted profit levels.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work on own initiative.
