Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Contract Distribution Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our contract distribution business. This will include managing budgets, tracking financial performance, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

  • Contract Management: You will be responsible for managing 5-6 large contracts, ensuring delivery of KPIs, maintaining excellent customer relationships, and driving contract performance to maximise revenue streams.
  • People Management: You will take responsibility for all HR-related functions within your team, including recruitment, training, development, and performance management, ensuring a motivated and efficient workforce.
  • Financial Accountability: You will manage budgets, track financial performance, and ensure cost-effectiveness across all contracts. You will work closely with the finance team to monitor profitability and drive commercial success.
  • Commercial Leadership: You will lead contract negotiations, renewals, and expansions, maximising revenue from existing contracts while exploring new opportunities.
  • Compliance and Safety: You will ensure all operations are compliant with legal regulations and company safety standards.

  • A proven track record in a senior management role within the logistics or contract distribution sector.
  • Strong operational, commercial, and financial acumen, with a track record of managing multimillion-pound contracts.
  • Strong people management skills, with experience in leading, developing, and motivating large teams.
