Lidl is a leading retail company in Germany, known for its high-quality products and excellent customer service. As a Customer Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering this exceptional experience to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving queries in a professional and friendly manner.
- Efficiently manage deliveries, restocking shelves and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide a seamless shopping experience.
- Proactively maintain the bakery, ensuring a consistent supply of fresh goods.
- Expertly merchandise and maintain the middle aisles of Non-Food products, ensuring a visually appealing and easy-to-navigate shopping experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
- A drive to work hard and make a real difference in the success of the store.
- A smile on your face and a friendly manner to inspire your team and help our customers.
What We Offer
- A competitive salary based on equal opportunity and pay structures.
- An extra £2.00 per hour for work during bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for night shifts.
- A generous benefits package, including 30-35 days' holiday (pro rata), 10% in-store discount and enhanced family leave.
