About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Therapist to join our team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality primary care Talking Therapy services to adults with mild to moderate mental health problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) based, self-management interventions to clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression
- Work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of team policies and procedure
- Deliver Talking Therapies services in accordance with NICE guidelines, within agreed activity levels and model, meeting required key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Provide advice and consultation on client's care, to other clinicians and to non-professional carers
- Promote wellbeing and social inclusion
- Work flexibly and in accordance with service demands
Requirements
- Qualification from PWP Training Course (Post Graduate Certificate or Level 3 undergraduate course) OR equivalent Experienced and qualified Graduate Mental Health Worker with relevant Primary Care experiences and competences
- Evidence of working with people who have experienced a mental health problem
- Demonstrates high standards in written communication
- Able to write clear reports and letters
- Experience of working in Primary Care Services
