About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing quality clinical care to patients. You will develop and maintain patient care plans, liaise with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide co-ordinated patient management, and provide assessment of patients and co-ordinate outpatient and inpatient treatments.

Key Requirements:

  • Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA)
  • A current Sexual Health and Family Planning Australia Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health for Nursing or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years full-time Post Graduate experience within the previous 5 years in a sexual and reproductive health nurse role (or part time equivalent)
  • Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA

About Edinburgh Health Centre

Edinburgh Health Centre is located 25km North of Adelaide, at RAAF Base Edinburgh. This super-base accommodates 3500 personnel from the Australian Army and RAAF, as well as being home to the RAAF Institute of Aviation Medicine. The health centre operates a 16 bed low dependency ward 24/7. It also provides primary medical, aviation medical, nursing, dental, physiotherapy, mental health, pharmaceutical, and rehabilitation services.
