Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care as a staff nurse in sexual and reproductive health, working within a professionally accountable, legal, and ethical framework.
  • See clients on an individual basis, offering empathetic and non-judgmental support.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of the Chalmers sexual health service, ensuring it remains a leader in the field.
  • Mentor students and provide guidance on clinical governance, audit, and professional development.
  • Operate within a team environment, promoting collaboration and open communication.

Requirements:

  • PVG Scheme membership/record.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong clinical governance and audit skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
