About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Credit Control Support to join our Billing and Credit team at Cadent Gas Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer multiple credit portfolios, including Damages, Diversions, Connections, Built over assets, Plant protection, and Shipper siteworks.
  • Deal with high volumes of invoices, credits, and cash, including full accounting reconciliations and communication with key business stakeholders and solicitors.
  • Resolve complex invoice and payment queries across multiple credit portfolios to provide resolution to internal and external parties.
  • Administer the refund process, following Delegation of Authority and banking verifications, and monitor and investigate unallocated cash account balances.
  • Receive, process, collate, and provide routine systemized information to/from customers and internal parties.
  • Operate office systems and equipment, process documents, and maintain accurate departmental information.
  • Validate and authorize files to be sent to the external debt recovery Service Provider and manage complex queries and follow process and principles of daily management of debt recovery process.
  • Deliver internal and external audit requirements and resolve complex ad-hoc queries and support other team members when required.
  • Support with advance training requirements across all process impacting credit portfolios, including systems training within SAP & S/4.
