About the Role:

Cadent Gas Limited is seeking a highly organized and analytical individual to join our Billing and Credit team as a Credit Control Support. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for administering the prioritization and proactive collection of debt, full account reconciliations, and determining effective credit decisions on behalf of our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer multiple credit portfolios, including Damages, Diversions, Connections, Built over assets, Plant protection, and Shipper siteworks.
  • Deal with high volumes of invoices, credits, and cash, including full accounting reconciliations and communication with key business stakeholders and solicitors.
  • Resolve complex invoice and payment queries across multiple credit portfolios to provide resolution to internal and external parties.
  • Administer the refund process, monitor and investigate unallocated cash account balances, and achieve targets set by management.
  • Process and collate routine systemized information to/from customers and internal parties.
  • Operate office systems and equipment, process documents, and maintain accurate departmental information.
  • Validate and authorize files to be sent to the external debt recovery Service Provider and manage complex queries.
  • Deliver internal and external audit requirements and resolve complex ad-hoc queries and support other team members when required.
  • Support with advanced training requirements across all processes impacting credit portfolios, including systems training within SAP & S/4.
