We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Control Specialist to join our Billing and Credit team at Cadent Gas. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in administering the prioritization and proactive collection of debt, full account reconciliations, and determining effective credit decisions on behalf of our company.
Key Responsibilities- Administer the prioritization and proactive collection of debt, ensuring compliance with credit policies, controls, and contractual frameworks.
- Perform full account reconciliations and determine effective credit decisions on behalf of Cadent Gas.
- Ensure the team delivers a high-quality and robust service to the business and its customers.
- Work closely with key business stakeholders and our solicitors to resolve complex debt collection issues.
- Administer the refund process, following Delegation of Authority and banking verifications.
- Monitor and investigate unallocated cash account balances and achieve targets set by management.
- Operate office systems and equipment, process documents, and maintain accurate departmental information.
- Deliver internal and external audit requirements and resolve complex ad-hoc queries.
- Support with advance training requirements across all processes impacting credit portfolios, including systems training within SAP & S/4.
