Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Credit Control professional to join our team at Workforce Staffing Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for reconciling the main ledger, allocating daily payments, and managing order releases to balance credit risk and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconciling the main ledger and ensuring timely invoice uploads to support cash flow
- Allocating daily payments promptly and addressing daily queries
- Managing order releases to balance credit risk and business growth
- Liaising with internal departments and sending weekly statements to customers
- Reducing bad debt on the ledger and ensuring timely payments from customers
- Maintaining daily contact with customers via email, portal, and phone
- Chasing overdue debt and updating systems and shared spreadsheets
- Taking payments over the phone from customers
Requirements:
- Experience in Credit Control, ideally within the FMCG industry
- Excellent IT skills, including intermediate Excel
- EDI experience
- Experience working towards targets
- Openness to change and new ways of working
- Excellent customer service skills
- Prompt action-taking to deliver results and support the team when needed
- Ambitious, driven, and focused with a can-do attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
