Job Title: Head of Business and Operations

Job Summary:

Euronext is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Business and Operations to lead our team in charge of the daily operations of our trading platform. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for optimizing operational workflows and systems to enhance efficiency and reliability, developing and executing business strategies to expand market share and enhance our competitive position, and identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team: Lead a high-performing team of operations and business professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the team's success.
  • Optimize operations: Analyze and optimize operational workflows and systems to enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
  • Develop business strategies: Develop and execute business strategies to expand market share, enhance our competitive position, and drive business growth.
  • Pursue new opportunities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships and M&A.
  • Manage financial performance: Manage the financial performance of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
  • Compile and analyze metrics: Compile and analyze metrics to produce business strategy analyses, simulations, and reports around client activity and profitability, sales performance, and related bespoke analysis.
  • Build external relationships: Build, enhance, and support external relationships with strategic partners, vendors, and other third-party service providers.
  • Monitor industry developments: Monitor industry developments, regulatory changes, and competitive behavior to ensure we stay ahead of the curve.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in operations and business management within the FX industry or a related financial services sector. Experience in a leadership role will be highly considered.
  • Education: MBA or equivalent degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Skills: Deep understanding of FX markets and trading platforms, strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling abilities, strategic thinking, and ability to drive business growth, superior organizational and project management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent leadership and team management skills, high level of integrity and professionalism, and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
