Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Support Administrator to join our IM&T department at Greater Manchester Mental Health. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the smooth functioning of our operations, contributing to the overall success of our organization in delivering care through our digital program.

Main Duties

  • Provide administrative support to the IM&T senior management team, including attending meetings, taking minutes, and ensuring accurate and timely distribution of meeting materials.
  • Coordinate IM&T meeting administration, including agendas, room bookings, and refreshments.
  • Manage meeting room bookings and ensure that all necessary materials are prepared and distributed in a timely manner.
  • Provide administrative support for strategic projects, ad hoc events, and other IM&T processes.
  • Develop and maintain office filing and communication systems to ensure efficient and effective information sharing.

Person Specification

Essential Criteria

  • Maths and English qualification to GCSE level C or above.
  • Computer literacy, with proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Experience of taking minutes at meetings.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Desirable Criteria

  • NVQ Qualification Level 3 or equivalent in business administration.
  • Customer services experience.
  • NHS Mental Health Services background.
