Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate carer empowerment specialist to join our community mental health team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with carers and families of patients, providing support services and advocating for their needs.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health issues and a commitment to carer empowerment. They will be able to develop and deliver education and training programs, as well as advocate for the needs of carers and families at local and regional levels.

We offer a competitive salary of £26,300 - £32,270 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package. Our goal is to create a supportive and inclusive work environment that allows our staff to thrive and deliver exceptional care to our patients.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Working with carers and families of patients to identify their needs and develop a support plan
  • Delivering education and training programs to carers and families
  • Advocating for the needs of carers and families at local and regional levels
