Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Health Specialist to join our team at Travelex. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading global business and contribute to the development of our occupational health and safety (OHS) framework.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining OSH policies, procedures, and associated best practices globally. You will also provide guidance on these policies and procedures to stakeholders, ensuring they understand key concepts and can apply them effectively.

Additionally, you will produce concise and accurate H&S risk assessments, reports, and recommendations, as well as maintain and update H&S policy, procedures, and training material. You will also ensure all regulatory reporting is completed accurately and on time.

You will have a strong focus on monitoring and evaluating new or changing H&S legislation and providing advice to the business on its potential impact. Furthermore, you will communicate protections in place for our travelling business community and undertake H&S related incident investigations.

This role requires excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as demonstrable experience in the development, implementation, and maintenance of H&S policy and frameworks across multi-faceted businesses. You will also have experience in conducting H&S site and fire risk assessments, and commercial acumen to balance risks with a business perspective.

In addition, you will be responsible for producing accurate, timely, and relevant H&S risk MI for senior leaders and boards. You will also proactively communicate H&S related information to other areas of Compliance & Risk and the business stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Professionally qualified in OHS, e.g. NEBOSH diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Demonstrable experience in H&S policy and framework development, implementation, and maintenance
  • Experience in H&S site and fire risk assessments
  • Commercial acumen and ability to balance risks with a business perspective
