About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Plymouth. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting a young man with autism to live a full and independent life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Empower the individual to make informed decisions and take control of their life
  • Develop and implement daily living skills to promote independence
  • Support the individual to access their community for socialization, employment, training, or friendships
  • Contribute to and develop the individual's care plan to ensure their needs are met
  • Communicate effectively with the individual, their family members, and external professionals
  • Maintain the individual's physical and emotional well-being
