About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Professional to join our team at Phoenix Learning & Care Group. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children with social and emotional needs related to Autism, ADHD, or Trauma.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children to have the best quality of life possible, including activities such as baking, fun days out, and holidays.
  • Ensure the children's safety and well-being by monitoring their development and keeping records up to date.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for the children.

Requirements:

  • Patience, compassion, and resilience to work with children who may have experienced trauma.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to update the children's plans and work with various stakeholders.
  • A driving license to transport the children to various activities and outings.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including sleep-ins, to provide 24-hour support to the children.
  • A willingness to learn and develop skills, with the opportunity to gain a qualification in residential childcare.
