Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Reinsurance Broker to join our Cyber Team. As a Reinsurance Broker, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and grow your skills in the dynamic field of cyber insurance. You will work closely with clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders to negotiate and place reinsurance contracts that effectively mitigate cyber risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, including insurance companies, brokers, and other key stakeholders in the cyber insurance market.
  • Identify and analyze cyber risks and develop reinsurance solutions to effectively manage and transfer these risks.
  • Collaborate with underwriters to assess and evaluate cyber insurance policies and determine appropriate reinsurance strategies.
  • Negotiate reinsurance terms and conditions with reinsurers to ensure optimal coverage and pricing.

Requirements

  • Data analysis and statistical skills using Excel, R, SQL, or Python.
  • Ability to create charts, tables, and graphs to present data in an effective format.
  • Proven experience as a Reinsurance Broker, preferably with a focus on cyber insurance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and evaluate cyber risks.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and reinsurers.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as economics, insurance, risk management, or finance.
  • In-depth knowledge of the cyber insurance market, including key players, products, and emerging trends.
  • Confident in understanding risk models and how they can be leveraged to structure (re)insurance risk transfer solutions.
  • Ability to identify market insights, trends, and then use that knowledge to advise clients on their underwriting and portfolio management strategies.
  • Strong understanding of (re)insurance companies' financial and accounts.
