About the Role:
At CV-Library, we are seeking a highly skilled Operating Department Practitioner to join our Theatre team in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will support the delivery of high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our 'people caring for people' ethos.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons and operating theatre staff during surgical procedures, ensuring that all equipment is properly sterilized and maintained.
- Prepare patients for surgery, administer local anesthesia, and monitor vital signs during procedures.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions
- Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligaments
- Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable but not essential
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
- Flexible and positive attitude
- A warm, considerate, and empathetic character
