Role: Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our team at Greenfields Children's Service. The ideal candidate will share our values of compassion, respect, and empowerment, and possess a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young people.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide compassionate and individualized care to children and young people in our residential setting.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment that promotes well-being and personal growth.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Implement behavior management strategies that are positive and developmentally appropriate.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Document observations, progress, and interventions accurately and effectively.
  • Ensure the safety and security of all residents at all times.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A full driving license and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.
  • Experience working with children and young people in a similar setting is preferred (minimum 3 months).
  • A QCF Level 3 Children & Young People qualification or equivalent is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • A compassionate, patient, and understanding nature.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
